## Description

KIPP SoCal Public Schools is seeking an In-House Substitute to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Following classroom teachers' lesson plans or creating lesson plans when needed

- Maintaining a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment

- Supervising students in and out of class

- Teaching knowledge and skills, nurturing confidence and character, and inspiring passion in students

- Designing and implementing small group instruction

- Analyzing informal and formal student assessment results to inform instruction

- Communicating and collaborating with teammates, parents, and community members

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

- Preliminary or Clear California credential preferred

- 30-day Substitute Teacher Permit

- Flexibility, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit

- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and build relationships
