## Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Group Investment Management to lead our investment management and manager-of-managers capability across traditional and ILP assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Developing and executing mandate strategies, allocation strategies, and portfolio construction aligned with SAA/TAA and ALM requirements

- Building and leading a centralised manager selection, onboarding, and performance oversight capability across Group portfolios

- Establishing and managing relationships with asset managers, and leading commercial negotiations

- Monitoring performance, risk, and compliance across mandates, and driving attribution, optimisation, and rebalancing

- Leading investment governance, including IC processes, mandate approvals, and escalation frameworks

- Partnering with BU CIOs and teams on mandate execution, alignment, and local implementation requirements

- Supporting investment-linked and other product structures, including manager selection, pricing inputs, and portfolio design

- Developing and executing capital-efficient structures, such as derivatives, hedging, and liquidity strategies

- Negotiating and managing ISDA / CSA agreements

- Streamlining mandate management processes, reporting, and data integration to enable scale and efficiency

- Building and managing a high-performing investment team

The ideal candidate will have:

- 15+ years of experience in insurance asset management / mandate investment / portfolio management

- A strong track record in allocation, manager selection, and portfolio construction

- A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; CFA / MBA preferred

- Deep expertise in ALM-linked portfolio construction and multi-asset allocation

- Strong experience in manager-of-managers, mandate structuring, and fee negotiation

- Understanding of insurance investment dynamics, including capital, liquidity, and regulatory constraints

- Advanced capability in portfolio analytics, performance attribution, and risk assessment

- Strong stakeholder management across internal teams and external managers
