## Description

Join our friendly team at Co-op Funeralcare in Reading, Berkshire, and help families say the perfect goodbye to loved ones. As a Funeral Arranger, you will play a crucial role in providing support to clients and arranging funerals.

**Job Details:**

- £26,266 per year (£13.47 per hour)

- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

**Responsibilities:**

- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community

- Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions

- Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming

- Work with digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing

- Support with manual handling of coffins and assist in the care and preparation of the deceased

- Update client management applications with accurate and timely information

**Requirements:**

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work with numbers and basic calculations

- Keen eye for detail and accuracy

- Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems

- Passion for delivering great service and building relationships

- High levels of empathy, discretion, and care

- Ability to carry out physical elements of the role
