## Description

WSP is seeking a senior-level Site Civil Engineer to join their team supporting electrical utility and renewable energy service areas. The successful candidate will work on grading and drainage/stormwater management design for new and existing electrical utility sites and renewable energy sites, including solar, wind, and battery storage. They will also be involved in access road design, permitting, and construction support.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables for civil/site engineering projects

- Using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation for design

- Performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management calculations, and floodplain modeling

- Developing site layouts, grading, drainage designs, and construction drawings

- Creating bills of materials and construction specifications

- Conducting detailed engineering reviews of work submitted by others

- Providing mentorship and guidance to others

- Coordinating with the Project Engineer/Manager to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline

- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design

- An engineer license (multi-state preferred)

- Experience in site design for utilities, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, storm drainage, and stormwater management design

- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills

- Experience using Microsoft Office software suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation

Preferred qualifications include experience with stormwater management and hydraulic modeling software, electric utility substation design experience, and managerial and leadership skills.
