## Description

We are seeking a Senior Risk Developer to join our RepoClear SA Risk IT team, part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). As a leading clearing house, LCH serves major international exchanges and platforms, providing clearing services for European Government debts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building Risk IT systems, automating continuous development and integration of First-line Risk IT framework, implementing software applications, and testing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and developing the backend engine for Risk IT and clearing

- Full cycle of testing from theoretical model to production

- Implementing Market Data and Risk-related projects

- Gathering business requirements and agreeing with IT, App Support teams, and business teams

- Analyzing and implementing performance improvements to existing risk models

- Maintaining and supporting existing risk libraries and risk simulators

- Providing 3rd line support for Risk Applications

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in software development

- Financial background, preferably in counterparty or market risk

- Degree in a numerate discipline

- Strong programming skills in Java 21, Spring, REST

- Experience in risk or a quantitative role

- Ability to work independently with problem-solving skills and effective communication skills
