## Description

The Production Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for packaging and shipping of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

The role involves:

- Packaging prescription medications according to regulatory requirements

- Retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing or measuring quantities of medications as directed

- Reviewing patient notes and preferences on pharmacy operating system

- Assembling patient information materials as specified by the pharmacist

- Receiving medication deliveries and maintaining medication inventory

- Supporting in the management of the pharmacy's medication inventory, including expiry checks and product organization

- Displaying a desire to support all areas of need within the pharmacy as directed by the pharmacy management team

The ideal candidate will have:

- 2 years of relatable experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting

- Proficiency in Kroll software

- Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills

- Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Flexibility and adaptability to change

- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
