## Description

Working as a Guest Advocate at Target means helping families discover the joy of everyday life. You will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, answering questions, and resolving issues. Your goal is to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and initiate a warm, helpful interaction

- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience

- End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you

- Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas

- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience

- Make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events

- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs

- Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately

- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy

- Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering

- Attempt every return or exchange and follow register prompts

- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area

- Stock supplies during store open hours

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

- Enjoy interacting and helping others

- Thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role

- Open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts

- Communicate effectively, including using positive language and being attentive to guest needs

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members

- Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks

- Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners

- Work both independently and with a team

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
