Privy is a developer tooling company that empowers users to take control of their online presence. We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of Infrastructure engineers.

Responsibilities

* Lead and grow a high-performing team of Infrastructure engineers
* Drive the future vision of infrastructure alongside talented infrastructure engineers
* Hold the team accountable to excellence in quality, throughput, and performance
* Ensure the team is working on the right scope of work and projects, align decisions with business impact
* Fill gaps as a player-coach; review PRs, write and review design docs, investigate incidents
* Coach engineers towards growth and their career goals

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with designing and operating systems supporting hundreds of millions of users
* Secure enclave platforms, like AWS Nitro Enclaves
* Observability, incident response, capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure automation (IaC, CI/CD for infra)
* Background in building low-latency, high-throughput systems for trading or payment processing
* Any blend of public cloud/BYOC architectures
