## Description

The Aftercare - Expanded Learning Assistant role at High Tech High's Chula Vista campus is a part-time, hourly position. As an Aftercare Assistant, you will play a unique role as a mentor, tutor, activity leader, and sports coach. You will supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors, maintain a safe and organized environment, take attendance, plan and run engaging student activities, assist students with virtual learning activities and homework assignments, and implement emergency procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, be comfortable leading enrichment activities, and be able to communicate effectively. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

This position is in-person and on-campus. The salary range is $20.60-25.11 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position does not qualify for benefits.
