## Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to join its dynamic Finance team.

The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting work papers, and disclosure checklists to ensure GAAP-compliant, accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for the external audit and own key quarterly and annual financial reporting controls.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting work papers, and disclosure checklists

- Ensuring GAAP-compliant, accurate financial reporting

- Serving as a key point of contact for the external audit

- Owning key quarterly and annual financial reporting controls

- Reviewing complex, judgment-heavy areas, including commissions

- Conducting technical accounting research on complex and non-recurring transactions

- Evaluating and adopting new accounting standards

- Identifying emerging areas of complexity in the close process and partnering with cross-functional teams

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, experience researching FASB Accounting Standards Codification and Big 4 interpretive guidance, and strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

The base compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $154,000.
