## Description

We are seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician III to join our team at Hill AFB, UT. This role supports the DISA-provided GIG capabilities and services in the 24x7 DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC).

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Create, update, and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow/ITSM, and independently triage the ticket queue.

- Monitor network events and failures 24/7/365, analyze alarms, and coordinate fault corrections.

- Notify relevant contacts about network incidents and provide timely situational awareness to leadership and impacted communities.

- Support fault isolation and troubleshooting, including testing and diagnosing issues with network elements.

- Restore networks and services to full operation, ensure compliance with SLAs, and document changes in the CMDB.

- Assist in training and monitoring Network controllers, and evaluate training programs, SOPs, and tools.

- Demonstrate extensive proficiency in DISN functions and resolve multi-layer complex issues across multiple NOCs or domains.

**Basic Qualifications:**

- DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent).

- Active Secret security clearance.

- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, performance management.

- Advanced knowledge in at least four of the following: routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.

- Moderate understanding of network topologies, including both transport and IP.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience in a tech control facility or cyber transport operations.

- Familiarity with circuit actions and vendor management.

- Knowledge of IP architecture.

- Experience in a Telco NOC or with inside or outside plant operations.

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Teams.

**Required Education and Experience:**

- High school and 3-5 years of experience.

**Pay Range:** $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
