## Description

As an Engineering Manager at Spotify, you will lead a team of skilled engineers distributed across Europe. Your primary goal is to support a highly effective engineering team delivering an amazing product. You will coach and develop the careers of team members, ensure high-quality deliveries, and partner with product managers to support prioritizations and product visions.

Responsibilities:

- Hire, coach, and develop the careers of a team of engineers

- Ensure high-quality deliveries

- Partner with product managers to support prioritizations and product visions

- Support the engineering team and work with Staff engineers to formulate the technical strategy needed to deliver on the company's vision

- Perform hands-on engineering work from time to time

Requirements:

- Experience developing great people and cultivating a strong engineering culture in an agile environment

- Skilled in collaborating on and developing distributed systems that can scale to millions of users

- Experience with data warehouses and data processing at scale

- Experience working on commercial SaaS products

- Strong people skills and leadership experience

- Passionate about software engineering best practices and large-scale tech problems

- Care deeply about product quality and hold people to a high standard

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (with flexibility to work from home)
