## Description

Join Flexport's People team as a Sr Payroll Associate and play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

You will manage North America payroll operations, focusing on hourly employees and Canadian payroll intricacies.

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for North American workforce, including US and Canadian hourly employees.

- Oversee payroll compliance, including tax filings, garnishments, and statutory deductions.

- Collaborate with People, Finance, and external partners to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.

- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.

- Provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of dedicated experience managing payroll operations.

- Proven expertise in North American payroll, including US and Canadian payroll processing.

- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local payroll tax regulations.

- Experience with major payroll systems and HRIS platforms.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a 'compliance first' attitude.
