## Description

At Catawiki, you're part of a unique marketplace for extraordinary objects. As our Security Tech Lead Manager, you'll oversee a team of 2-3 security engineers within Platform Engineering. You'll manage the security engineering roadmap, prioritize work based on risk and business needs, and collaborate with Product and Platform Engineering to protect our marketplace and customers.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage and develop the security team through regular one-to-ones, feedback, performance reviews, and career development.

- Own the security engineering roadmap, prioritizing work based on risk, business needs, and team capacity.

- Stay hands-on by building security controls and automation, reviewing code, and guiding technical decisions.

- Partner with Product and Platform Engineering on threat modelling, security reviews, and secure approaches.

- Improve vulnerability management, assessing findings and tracking issues through resolution.

- Enhance security checks in CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

- Coordinate the security team's technical contribution to incident response and investigations.

- Work with Legal, IT, and Trust & Safety on security controls, policies, and audit evidence.

- Measure and communicate progress through remediation times, control coverage, and adoption.

**Requirements:**

- Substantial hands-on security engineering experience in a software or cloud environment.

- Experience managing engineers as direct reports, including performance reviews and career development.

- Ownership of a security roadmap or programme, translating priorities into deliverable work.

- Strong knowledge of application and cloud security, including identity and access management, secrets management, and secure software development.

- Experience with threat modelling, secure code and design reviews, vulnerability prioritization, and practical incident response.

- Proficiency in languages like Ruby, Python, Go, and ability to review backend code.

**Helpful Experience:**

- Experience with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

- Background in a marketplace, e-commerce, or software product business.

- Experience securing AI-enabled applications or using AI to improve security engineering workflows.
