## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners in St Albans, you will play a crucial role in bringing high-quality produce and exceptional service directly to customers' doors.

Your day will involve driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle, interacting with customers, and ensuring timely deliveries. In-store, you will contribute to daily tasks such as stock replenishment and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent customer service while on the road

- Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently

- Ensuring careful handling of products during delivery

- Building strong relationships with customers

- Conducting vehicle safety checks

- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on deliveries

To excel in this role, you will need:

- To be 18 years or older

- A valid UK manual car driving license (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points

- Excellent people skills and a customer-focused approach

- Physical ability to lift crates and move large cages (up to 18kg)

Desirable skills include previous experience driving for work or knowledge of refrigerated vans.

In terms of compensation, you will earn £14.31 per hour, with night premium pay of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00. This role is part-time, working 22.5 hours per week across Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday shifts.
