## Description

We are seeking a Senior / Principal C&I Engineer to join our Low Carbon Team, contributing to the success of energy projects, including energy from waste plants, industrial facilities, and carbon capture schemes.

The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical, instrumentation, and control engineers in developing designs for a wide range of energy projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and developing cost-effective, efficient, and innovative solutions to complex problems

- Delivering projects at various stages of maturity, including feasibility studies, concept designs, and detailed design

- Preparing and developing C&I deliverables, such as design basis philosophies, system specifications, and architecture diagrams

- Collaborating with equipment vendors on design development and participating in technical evaluations

- Providing technical leadership and governance

Requirements include:

- A degree in a relevant engineering subject with postgraduate experience in C&I design

- Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and membership of a relevant engineering institute

- Ability to assume a lead role in C&I deliverables development

- Knowledge of power and energy project design and construction

- Proven understanding of the design process and experience working with clients and contractors
