## Description

Cheam High School is seeking a Learning Resources Manager and Literacy Co-Ordinator to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school library, supervising and training student library assistants, and ensuring the smooth running of the LRC in close collaboration with the LRC Assistant and English Department.

Key duties will include:

- Managing the day-to-day LRC services for students and staff

- Supervising students during break and lunch periods

- Overseeing the LRC budget and handling library administration tasks

While experience working in a library is not essential, the ability to effectively interact with students and staff is crucial.

The role offers a salary of GBP 21,807 - 31,227 per year, paid at the CAN salary scale point 21, with a pro-rata adjustment for part-time hours.

The working hours will be 8:30am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday, over 30 hours per week across 190 working days (188 term days plus 2 staff preparation days).

There may be opportunities for exceptional candidates to take on additional responsibilities within careers and work experience, potentially leading to a higher salary.
