## Description

We are seeking a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Hazelmere House Care Home in Wilmslow. As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and joy-filled atmosphere for our residents. You will design and implement exciting events and activities that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.

You will be responsible for:

- Running morning and afternoon activity sessions

- Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working within a set activities budget

- Organising birthday surprises for our residents

- Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home

- Organising one-to-one sessions with our residents, which may involve reminiscing, puzzles, reading, or simply having a cup of tea and a chat

- Supporting the home with their social media channels as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork, and effectively manage priorities as they arise. You will also need to be interested in caring for others, sharing your sense of humour, and spreading your infectious enthusiasm for making people's lives better.

The salary for this role is £13.30 - £14.30 per hour, depending on experience. The role is part-time, with a shift pattern of 09:00 am - 16:30 pm, 3 days per week, with weekend availability required when necessary.
