## Description

As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer at Mollie, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining a robust compliance framework across AML/CFT, sanctions, and governance.

You'll lead and develop a team of junior and mid-level compliance officers, providing coaching, reviewing their work, and helping them grow.

Your expertise across AML/CFT, sanctions, and regulatory advisory will set the standard for how the team operates and how compliance is embedded across Mollie.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing a scalable compliance framework to support Mollie's European expansion

- Creating clear policies and controls that translate PSD2/3, AMLD6, and EBA Guidelines into practical business requirements

- Conducting proactive risk assessments and thematic reviews to identify and close compliance gaps

- Embedding compliance into product development lifecycles

- Preparing high-quality regulatory reporting and senior management deliverables

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- 7+ years of compliance experience within a regulated financial institution

- Strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, including PSD2, AMLD, EBA Guidelines, and MiCAR

- Experience across financial crime and broader regulatory compliance advisory

- Ability to translate complex regulations into clear solutions

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
