## Description

The APAC Sales Specialist role is part of the London Stock Exchange Group's Benchmark and Index business, focusing on developing new business within the Asia-ex Japan Buy-Side. The successful candidate will be responsible for new business development with clients and prospects, deepening existing relationships, and delivering on FTSE Russell and LSEG's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building relationships with key stakeholders within the buy-side ecosystem

- Identifying client requirements and positioning FTSE Russell as a strategic partner to achieve investment goals

- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets

- Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of FTSE Russell's products, including equity, fixed income, ESG, and custom indexes

- Collaborating with regional teams to share insights, align strategies, and support cross-regional opportunities

- Establishing a customer feedback loop to inform new product generation and thought leadership

- Tracking and reporting sales activities, pipeline progress, and client feedback using CRM tools

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in sales/new business development within the financial services industry

- Minimum 3 years of sales and account management experience

- Strong understanding of the investment management process and ecosystem

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Solutions-based selling experience
