## Description

At Adyen, you will work as a Software Engineer II (Java) in the Financial Products team, focusing on developing and implementing financial products such as Banking, Issuing, Fx, and Capital products.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working on complex technical projects from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, and launch into production

- Contributing to the implementation of features and identifying areas for improvement

- Building APIs and tooling according to quality principles such as performance and code quality

- Collaborating across teams and time zones to get projects over the finish line

To succeed in this role, you should:

- Have experience with complex large-scale distributed systems

- Be familiar with Java, Web Services, REST APIs, Webhooks, and SQL/PostgreSQL

- Have a good understanding of Software Engineering practices and an interest in product knowledge

- Enjoy working in a cross-functional team with roles like Data Science, Frontend, and Product

We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in software development in a fast-paced tech environment and full professional proficiency in English.

As an office-first company, we require 3 days of in-office work per week.
