## Description

You will be an Account Executive responsible for managing public sector accounts in Japan, specifically in the national defense sector. You will work closely with solution engineers, product specialists, and partners to propose Cisco products and services that meet customer needs.

Your Impact: As a Public Account Executive, you will be responsible for understanding customer organisational structures, decision-making processes, and budget plans to drive account growth and achieve sales targets. You will leverage Cisco's broad portfolio to propose solutions that address customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and sales

- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and procurement departments

- Identify new sales opportunities and upsell/cross-sell existing customers

- Collaborate with solution engineers and product specialists to develop solutions

- Manage sales activities, including forecasting and pipeline management

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity

Minimum Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in public account-related business

- Experience in IT product sales and account management

- Ability to develop account plans and manage sales activities

- Strong knowledge of networking and security fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the defense sector or working with government agencies

- Knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes

- Experience working with system integrators and partners

- Strong communication and presentation skills
