## Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineering Manager to lead development teams of size ~10-15 as a manager. The successful candidate will define and lead the execution and delivery of AOS-CX Switch OS roadmap for the team, working with cross-functional teams like PLM/TME, Customer Support, or Hardware / ASIC / Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

- Leading development teams of size ~10-15 as a manager.

- Define and lead execution and delivery of AOS-CX Switch OS roadmap for the team working with cross functional teams.

- Balance technical depth with project execution to deliver efficiently.

- Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects.

- Ensure goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.

- Communicate project status and escalate issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.

- Provide people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.

Requirements:

- BE/BTECH/MTECH with 10+ years of total experience and 3 years of experience in people management.

- Prior development experience in the areas of Networking, Embedded Systems, and programming languages like C/C++ and Scripting like Python.

- Experience in planning, scheduling, risk management for projects/program.

- Hands-on experience of C/C++ development for Embedded Linux/RTOS.

- Knowledge of scripting language like Python.

- Networking fundamentals, ethernet chipsets/MAC/PHY and respective drivers.

- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills.

Desired Skills:

- Understanding of processor architectures such as ARM.

- Experience in agile development methodology like SAFe.

- Strong collaborative skills to work with cross-functional/hardware/ASIC teams.

- Experience with Boot loaders(U-Boot), Board bring up, diagnostics and low-level debugging using JTAG tools and gdb.
