## Description

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at Myton Food Group, a leading manufacturer and supplier to Morrisons Supermarkets, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site in Bradford.

The site operates complex machinery, sometimes 24/7, and it's crucial we have a skilled engineering team to maintain, repair, and improve equipment, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment

- Identify and resolve potential issues before they cause disruptions

- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose problems, and perform repairs or coordinate with external specialists

- Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production line efficiency and minimise downtime

- Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met

- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide technical expertise

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies

- Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies

Requirements:

- Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering

- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in the FMCG industry

- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery

- Proactive approach to maintenance and commitment to equipment reliability

- Good understanding of HACCP principles and IEE qualification up to 18th edition wiring regulations (advantageous)

- Excellent communication skills

- Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot

- A 'can-do' attitude and strong work ethic
