## Description

WSP USA is offering a Full-Time Geotechnical Intern position as part of their Summer Internship Program. The internship will take place in either Dallas or Houston, TX, and is scheduled to start on June 22, 2026, for a duration of 12 weeks.

As a Geotechnical Engineering Intern, you will support various engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting engineering tasks to develop technical skills

- Learning basic principles of Geotechnical Engineering

- Assisting with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis

- Supporting preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates

- Collecting and maintaining project documentation

- Completing training on assigned tasks

- Exercising responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct

To qualify, you must be actively enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate Civil Engineering or related program with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later. Other requirements include:

- Being 18 or older

- Demonstrated interest in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to take direction from leadership, mentors, and managers

- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools

- Upholding workplace safety and adhering to WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

- Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications include enrollment in a Master's or PhD program and prior internship experience.
