## Description

Trove Brands is a privately-held house of brands that designs and develops innovative products to simplify and improve everyday life.

As a Mechanical/Design Engineer, you will work with our team of Industrial Designers and other engineers to develop new products, conduct feasibility studies, and coordinate validation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver products according to design timelines and within cost targets

- Be responsible for the overall design, analysis, documentation, and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies

- Design, conduct, and participate in mechanical engineering evaluation and tests to validate the robustness and proper performance of new products

- Partner with Industrial Design team members, suppliers/partners, manufacturing and operations, quality, tooling, and other development groups to ensure the successful development and launch of new products

- Utilize best-in-class tools to develop innovative mechanical solutions to highly complex problems

- Protect company intellectual property through design and patent application processes

Required Qualifications:

- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering

- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical and/or product design development, consumer goods experience a strong benefit

- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling/design

- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of materials, properties, and fabrication processes

- Prior experience with injection molding is highly preferred

- Working understanding of principals of reliability testing, design of experiments, materials and process

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience with soft goods and multi-material products and gear

- Hands-on prototyping skills spanning multiple domains

- Experience with Asia OEM partners and manufacturing suppliers

- Ability to create elegant and simple solutions to complex problems
