## Description

We are seeking a Small Format Team Leader to join our team in San Marcos, TX. The starting pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.50 per hour, with a full pay range of $22.50 - $38.25 per hour.

As a Small Format Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring product is in stock and accurately priced, and leading a team of hourly team members. You will also be responsible for planning department workload, managing incoming and outgoing products, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments

- Ensure every team member understands and delivers on Target's guest experience commitments

- Actively observe and provide feedback to team members

- Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

- Plan daily/weekly workload with guidance from direct leader

- Execute workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement

- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience

- Enable a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is in stock and accurately priced

- Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process, and efficiency

- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture

- Model the execution of physical security processes

- Support merchandise protection strategies

- Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices

- Assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities

- Address all store emergency and compliance needs

Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age or older

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required

- Lead and hold others accountable

- Learn and adapt to current technology needs

- Work independently and as part of a team

- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and other team members

- Effective communication skills

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
