## Description

As a Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will play a critical role in delivering CVS Health's purpose and values. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Your responsibilities will include:

You will also lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues. You will support the Pharmacy manager in motivating and developing Pharmacy Support Staff, identify business opportunities, and adapt to change.

**Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

**Customer Service**

- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner

- Assist customers with questions and concerns

- Answer telephone calls with a warm and friendly greeting

- Request additional help when needed

- Perform approved register transactions

- Engage with customers to create personalized moments

**Regulatory**

- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality

- Communicate with customers while protecting confidential drug information

- Comply with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations

- Meet requirements for state and federal licensure

**Pharmacy Operations**

- Adhere to CVS workflow and maintain standards

- Process prescriptions

- Resolve third-party rejections

- Perform prescription pick-up procedures

- Access and retrieve necessary information

- Maintain in-stock inventory

- Assist with putting away drug orders

- Deliver additional healthcare services

**Counseling under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist:**

- Offer to counsel customers

- Field medical questions when appropriate

- Communicate with healthcare professionals

- Solicit information on customers' medical history

**Leadership**

- Communicate with Field Management and Corporate

- Participate in store operational meetings

- Support maintaining a clean and professional pharmacy department

- Coordinate training and development of Pharmacy Support Staff

- Recognize others and celebrate success

**Education:**

- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)

- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy

- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located

**Prior Relevant Work Experience:**

- Required: 0 to 3 years

- Preferred: 3 to 5 years

**Essential Qualifications, Essential Functions & Preferred Qualifications:**

- Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy

- Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
