## Description

Palantir is seeking a Product Design Intern to join their Design Team. The team is responsible for the human experience of using Palantir's software. As a Product Design Intern, you will work on product teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of real product features.

Responsibilities:

- Interaction and visual design: You'll be involved at every stage of design work, defining early product concepts, fleshing out workflows and micro-interactions, and executing on a crisp and effective visual design.

- User research: You'll conduct informal user research, visiting customer offices to interview and learn from users, and pairing qualitative methods with quantitative information.

- Collaboration: You'll work closely with product and forward deployed engineers to realize design ideas, treating them as partners and collaborating to prototype and build out products.

- Technical awareness: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript is appreciated, but not required.

Requirements:

- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.

- Planning to graduate in 2028.

- Portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $8,500/month.
