As a Medical Director at ICON, you will drive medical initiatives within project teams, guiding strategic direction and decision-making processes, and offer expert medical and scientific guidance, leveraging therapeutic expertise to inform project development.

**Responsibilities**

You will lead medical affairs delivery across your portfolio, setting standards and developing your team. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing strategic medical leadership and guidance on project teams.

- Offering expert medical and scientific consultation throughout project lifecycles.

- Ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in medical and safety monitoring activities.

- Representing the Medical Affairs Department in business development initiatives.

- Providing operational oversight within the Medical Affairs Department as needed.

**Your Profile**

You will bring significant medical affairs experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results. Required qualifications and experience:

- Medical degree (MD or equivalent), with specialization in a relevant therapeutic area preferred.

- Experience in cardiovascular outcomes trials or obesity/GLP-1 studies.

- Proven track record of medical leadership and consultation within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

- Advanced proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

- Based in Argentina, Brazil, or Mexico.

- 100% remote position.
