## Description

As an Account Associate at Cursor, you'll generate pipeline from scratch, earning the attention of prospective customers before an Account Executive gets on a call. You'll work across various commercial segments, from startups to mid-market engineering organisations, identifying buyers and creating conditions for meaningful sales conversations.

**What you'll do**

- Generate qualified pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting, including cold calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn, and creative multi-channel sequences.

- Research target accounts and map stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Leadership to identify entry points.

- Conduct discovery conversations to understand development teams' challenges and where Cursor fits.

- Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies and hand off opportunities cleanly.

- Hit and exceed weekly activity targets and monthly qualified meeting goals.

- Represent Cursor's brand and product with conviction.

- Bring market intelligence back to the team.

- Help build the playbook, shaping how this function scales.

**You may be a fit if**

- You have 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing, or business development roles, preferably in SaaS or developer tools.

- You're a self-starter who takes ownership of your pipeline.

- You communicate clearly and can explain complex products simply.

- You're curious about software development and excited about AI's impact.

- You're organised and data-driven.

- You have resilience and don't take rejection personally.

- You aim to grow into an Account Executive role.
