## Description

The Medical team at IQVIA is seeking an Associate Medical Director specialised in Psychiatry.

As an Associate Medical Director, you will primarily act as a global and regional Medical Advisor, providing medical support to investigative sites and project staff for protocol-related issues, including protocol clarifications, inclusion/exclusion determinations, and patient safety and eligibility issues.

Key responsibilities:

- Act as back-up Medical Advisor and Regional Medical Advisor on assigned projects

- Provide medical support to investigative sites and project staff for protocol-related issues

- Contribute to medical reviews of protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures, and Case Report Forms

- Provide therapeutic area/indication training for project clinical teams

- Attend and present at Investigator Meetings

- Review and clarify trial-related Adverse Events

- Perform medical case reviews of Serious Adverse Events

- Provide medical support for Analysis of Similar Events

- Review adverse event coding and Clinical Study Reports

- Attend meetings and be available 24/7 to respond to urgent protocol-related issues

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognised medical school

- Specialty Board certification in Psychiatry

- Advanced English level, both written and spoken

- 3-5 years of prior relevant experience supporting clinical trials

- Current knowledge of the medical, scientific, and clinical landscape in the applicable therapeutic area

- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in Spanish and English

- Valid country/state medical license
