## Description

NVIDIA is seeking VLSI Physical Design (CAD) Engineers to develop in-house tools and solutions, automate flows, and improve performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VLSI physical design, programming skills in C/C++/Python/Perl, and knowledge of device models, processing technology, timing, noise, and power in chip design.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop in-house tools and solutions

- Automate flows, ensure quality control, and improve performance of NVIDIA's VLSI Physical Design flow

- Collaborate with EDA vendors to evaluate and improve tools

**Requirements:**

- Pursuing MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

- Proficient in C/C++/Python/Perl

- Basic knowledge of device models, processing technology, timing, noise, and power in chip design

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Analytical ability in placement, routing, timing, clock, power, noise, and DFM

- Experience with mathematical algorithms and data structures for VLSI CAD

- Hands-on experience with EDA software from Synopsys, Cadence, ANSYS, etc.

- Experience with deep learning/machine learning projects
