## Description

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an experienced Banking Lawyer to join our Banking Team 1 in Hamburg.

As a Banking Lawyer with Norton Rose Fulbright, you will provide independent legal advice to banks, leasing companies, funds, sponsors, lessees, and borrowers on complex national and international financing transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Structuring and leading demanding transactions, particularly in the areas of asset and project finance

- Direct mandate responsibility and strategic sparring partner for clients

- Active role in expanding existing mandate relationships and in acquisition and business development activities

- Guiding and developing associates and managing smaller project teams

- Close collaboration with international colleagues on cross-border mandates

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Two above-average state examinations

- Several years of relevant professional experience in the banking and finance sector in an international commercial law firm

- Pronounced economic understanding and entrepreneurial thinking

- Sovereign appearance in direct client contact and experience in dealing with demanding clients

- Very good English language skills in writing and speaking, ideally with experience in international mandates

- High degree of independence, sense of responsibility, and pronounced team orientation

- Initial experience in guiding and developing younger team members
