## Description

Direct, administer and coordinate activities of Laboratory operations in an assigned region. You will be responsible for operational Profit & Loss (P&L) and the quality of services delivered.

In conjunction with Senior Vice President, Global Central Labs, other regional general managers, and global functional managers, you will formulate short and long-term plans, objectives and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing operations for Laboratory operations in an assigned region to ensure operational profitability and delivery of quality services to clients.

- Focusing on customer satisfaction and ensuring activities are put in place to maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels.

- Interacting with clients to address clients' operational issues and ensure satisfaction with services.

- Developing policies, practices and standards to minimize and manage business risk to the Company and customers.

- Developing, monitoring and implementing regional budgets and pricing programs.

- Maintaining financial oversight of operations in assigned regions.

- Assuring implementation and operational integration of Global Laboratory goals and objectives in regions as directed by senior management.

- Developing and implementing region's strategic and tactical initiatives.

- Managing staff in accordance with organisation's policies and applicable regulations.

- Approving actions for all management/human resource matters.

- Providing support to business development and continued development of a competitive service offering.

- Managing facility needs and strategic planning for facility expansion.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or science-related field.

- 10-15 years relevant industry experience.

- Knowledge of operational aspects of clinical laboratory service delivery.

- Knowledge of regulatory and regional policies and practices in clinical laboratory environment.

- Excellent analytical skills to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.

- Strong presentation and organisational skills.

- Strong negotiating skills.

- Strong leadership skills.
