## Description

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our Mechanical Biological Treatment facility in Horsham, West Sussex. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the 24/7 operation of the plant, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in compliance with site Health and Safety rules and Company policies.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Daily monitoring of the process plant, reporting any abnormalities to the SCADA Operator or Shift Supervisor.

- Performing housekeeping activities across all site areas.

- Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on fixed process plant under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Electrical/Mechanical Technicians.

- Executing tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures.

- Regularly inspecting site infrastructure.

- Ensuring the safety of self and others in accordance with health and safety legislation, Company procedures, and toolbox talks.

- Reporting any safety or environmental issues to site management.

- Attending site safety meetings/toolbox talks as required.

- Maintaining housekeeping to the safe and high standard required by Biffa.

- Performing any other job-related tasks as required by the Company.
