## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant II to join our team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte. As a Physical Therapist Assistant II, you will support four Atrium Health Inpatient facilities and three Acute Care facilities, providing high-quality patient care across various settings.

**Major Responsibilities:**

- Provide age-appropriate patient care, applying principles of growth and development

- Support Physical Therapists in delivering comprehensive patient care across various systems

- Implement therapeutic interventions, including patient education, exercise, and gait training

- Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist

- Complete accurate and timely documentation, adhering to departmental policies and procedures

- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment

- Pursue professional growth through continuing education and evidence-based practices

**Requirements:**

- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state(s) of employment

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

- Intermediate computer proficiency and strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
