We are recruiting Motor Claims Handlers to join our claims management centre in Nanterre, France, on a permanent basis, reporting to the Team Leader of the motor department.

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for the complete management of motor third-party material damage claims on behalf of insurance companies and/or large account clients.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Receive and record claims notifications to open files

- Collect necessary documents to process claims and analyse policy guarantees, legal documents, and contractual documents

- Respond to phone calls and inform callers

- Determine liabilities

- Assign experts if necessary

- Exchange information with professionals in the field to complete files

- Proceed with compensation if justified and ensure follow-up within strict deadlines

- Manage escalation procedures

- Provide advice and manage recoveries

- Regularly review the portfolio of claims in progress

- Establish client reports and participate in meetings

Profile sought:

- Minimum Bac+3 level training in insurance or law, with at least 3 years of experience as a Motor Claims Handler, with knowledge of the IRSA agreement

Skills:

- Good technical knowledge of agreements

- Mastery of escalation procedures or exceeding threshold limits

- Good writing and communication skills

- Patience and active listening

- Computer skills

- Synthesis and proposal skills

- Organisation, rigour, and prioritisation of tasks

- Respect for deadlines and file constraints

- Team spirit and autonomy

Salary range: 35,000 - 38,000€ fixed annual gross + variable
