## Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Designer for its Knowledge Graph team. The successful candidate will work remotely in the United Kingdom and be part of a growing Product Design organisation with over 25 designers, researchers, engineers, and design leaders across six continents.

The Senior Product Designer will focus on designing experiences for the context layer of Grafana Cloud's Knowledge Graph, which powers the entity graph, entity catalog, and RCA workbench. The goal is to enable engineers, SREs, and their agents to understand systems and resolve incidents faster.

Key responsibilities:

- Design experiences that help customers understand how their systems connect to each other

- Translate research and data into easy-to-digest experiences

- Tailor experiences to different target audiences

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and technical writing

- Prioritise delivering impact while balancing business priorities, customer wishes, and technical considerations

- Document user needs, pain points, design directions, and detailed designs

- Execute research and contribute to quantitative and qualitative research initiatives

Requirements:

- 7+ years of relevant design experience working on B2B/enterprise software products

- A portfolio of effective designs for complex products delivered in a fast-paced environment

- Experience running qualitative research in complex fields

- Ability to make design decisions that balance business goals, product priorities, customer feedback, research insights, and technical considerations

- Experience working in a fully-remote, fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

- Experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces with a focus on clarity

- Ability to rapidly gain an understanding of a technical domain and associated customer needs and user workflows

- Domain knowledge or experience related to observability, cloud infrastructure, and/or database monitoring
