## Description

We are seeking a Lead Nurse to join our team at Mitchison Road Surgery. As a Lead Nurse, you will work closely with the regional nursing, operational, and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks.

You will be acting within your professional boundaries, providing care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.

**Responsibilities:**

- Work closely with regional nursing, operational, and GP team members to meet targets

- Provide patient care from history taking to evaluation

- Demonstrate clinical decision-making skills

- Support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as required

- Implement and monitor clinical aspects, demonstrating clinical excellence

**Requirements:**

- First Level UK registered nurse or Registered AHCP with at least 2 years post-qualified experience

- Non-medical Prescriber

- Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams

- Understanding of the Lead Role
