## Description

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, part of the Royal Free London Group, is seeking an experienced operational leader to join the Integrated Medical Specialities and Therapies (IMST) Division as Divisional Director of Operations.

The successful candidate will lead the operational delivery of a large and varied medical division across two directorates, Long Term Conditions and Therapies, and Specialist Medicine. They will drive improvement in access, patient flow, quality, and financial sustainability, and help shape the future of medical services for the communities of Enfield, Haringey, and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the operational performance of the division against national and local standards

- Driving patient flow, length of stay, and discharge improvement

- Leading divisional financial planning and the Financial Improvement Programme

- Ensuring robust clinical governance, risk management, and patient safety

- Leading, developing, and holding to account the General Managers and divisional management team

- Representing the division at executive, group, system, and partner forums

The ideal candidate will have:

- A master's degree level in management, health, or a related discipline

- Substantial senior operational management experience in an acute or integrated NHS provider

- Proven track record of delivering national access standards and improving patient flow

- Highly developed leadership skills, advanced analytical skills, and excellent communication skills

The post is permanent, full-time, and based at Royal Free London - North Middlesex Hospital, Serling Way, London, N18 1QX. The salary range is £118,919 to £135,920 per annum.
