## Description

We are seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join our Operations team in Wednesbury. As a Senior Transport Planner, you will effectively manage the day-to-day organisation of operations of the Depot through the allocation and basic routing of vehicles to ensure best-in-class service delivery to customers.

Your core responsibilities:

- Champion our 'Safety First' culture

- Manage the day-to-day planning of the Northern Tanker fleet

- Ensure compliance with DVLA/EU Drivers Hours Regs/working time directive legislation

- Achieve BIFFA compliance KPIs on a period-by-period basis

- Conduct performance management/disciplinary processes as needed

- Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner

- Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and breakdowns

- Seek continuous improvement to maintain operational excellence

The ideal candidate will have:

- Transport industry knowledge

- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers hours and working time directive

- Experience managing a diverse fleet
