## Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing desktop and web applications using Selenium. As an Automation Test Engineer at Cigna Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and quality of our automation framework, while driving automation practices across the testing lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for desktop and web applications using Selenium and AccelQ.

- Collaborate with multiple teams for web/desktop testing and environment setup.

- Utilize database skills to build new scripts or reuse existing queries.

- Execute Integration Testing across diverse platforms.

- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment.

- Work with development and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.

- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Analyze business and technical requirements to define test strategies.

- Develop and execute test automation scripts for in-sprint and regression testing using Selenium and AccelQ.

- Create and execute test scripts in test management tools and report bugs.

- Determine priority for test cases and create effective execution plans with maximum coverage.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as PI and Sprint planning.

- Track and report automation progress as per PI plan.

- Continuously develop skills in new automation tools to improve automation penetration.

- Contribute to the implementation of new ideas and solutions.

- Adhere to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices and drive changes to achieve greater efficiency.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

- At least 5 years of experience in a system quality environment.

- 6-8 years of experience in Software QA and automation testing.

- Proven expertise in web app automation and cross-platform testing.

- Experience in CI/CD integration for automated test execution.

- Familiarity with version control systems and agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Broad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle with specific expertise in Software Testing.

- Excellent defect management and test documentation skills.

- Proven experience with desktop automation frameworks and tools.

- Knowledge of the Health Insurance Industry.

- Proven experience working within an Agile environment.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently, lead a team, or work as part of a team.

- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.

- Strong interest in personal development.

**Desirable Skills and Experience:**

- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Expertise in web application, desktop application, and integration testing.

- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr.

- Understanding of DevOps principles in testing environments.

- Knowledge of relational databases using SQL queries and file handling.

- Proficiency in Selenium, UFT, and AccelQ.
