## Description

Gidea Park Primary School is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 or 2:1 support for pupils with a range of SEND needs, including non-verbal children.

Responsibilities:

- Be confident in your ability to work as part of a team to support children with specific needs

- Have a strong belief that inclusive practice is key

- Be willing to provide intimate care if needed

- Be a dedicated teaching assistant who is able to raise and sustain high standards

- Have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, and parents

- Be able to enthuse and inspire children

- Contribute to a dynamic and hardworking team and work under your own initiative

- Be versatile and flexible with a commitment to continuous professional development

- Have experience of comparable work in a similar setting and hold at least NVQ2 or equivalent

The post is temporary for 1 year, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The salary is £23,006 - £24,352 per annum.
