## Description

Cotswold Lodge in New Romney, Kent, offers residential support for eight men with primary learning disability diagnoses. As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support, enabling individuals to live with dignity, independence, and choice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.

- Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.

- Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.

- Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.

- Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.

- Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.

- Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.

- Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- A caring and respectful approach to supporting others.

- Ability to work flexibly and think innovatively.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.

- Experience in care or support work (desirable, but not essential – training provided).
