As a Graduate Conference Producer, you will be responsible for delivering commercially successful, well-attended, and critically respected conferences. Your primary responsibility is to write compelling conference programmes, identify and secure a stellar speaker line-up of influential industry leaders, and manage the project from inception to completion. Responsibilities: - Write topical and compelling conference programmes reflecting the needs most pertinent to the sector - Identify leading names in each sector and secure them as speakers on every programme - Define the commercial proposition of each event - Build and understand a market map for each conference with insight into the value and strength of each buy-sell relationship - Develop a clear and concise growth strategy for each event and communicate this to the project team - Drive continued innovation in content, networking, and delegate experience - Work effectively with peers in sponsorship sales, delegate marketing, conference operations, delegate sales, and customer service to ensure full and effective delivery of each project - Communicate professionally with Argus editorial, business development, consulting, and subscription sales to ensure we benefit from synergies with the rest of the Argus business - Complete projects to deadline and on budget - Understand how market developments will impact the sectors in which you operate, and propose new conferences where opportunities arise - Network with clients at Argus events and in the market generally to ensure you are part of the industry - Develop a passion for the markets in which you operate - Deliver all the above on five or six conference projects annually Requirements: - Educated to degree level with a strong academic background and a genuine curiosity about business, markets, and current affairs - Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather information, identify trends, and form well-reasoned conclusions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with senior stakeholders - Commercially aware, with an interest in understanding industries, market developments, and what drives business success - Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects - Collaborative team player, able to build strong working relationships with colleagues across different functions - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop professional relationships with clients, speakers, and industry contacts - Innovative and curious, willing to challenge conventional thinking and contribute new ideas - Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working in a dynamic environment and responding positively to feedback Benefits: - Competitive salary and company bonus scheme - Group pension scheme - Group healthcare and life assurance scheme - Hybrid working environment (three days in office) - 25 days annual holiday with incremental increase up to 30 days - Subsidised gym membership - Season ticket travel loan - Cycle to work scheme - Flexible benefits platform ## Skills ### Required - research - analytical skills - communication skills - project management - innovation ### Nice to have - event production - market intelligence - conference production --- Source: [Apply at careers.argusmedia.com](https://careers.argusmedia.com/jobs/8470221-graduate-conference-producer?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply)
