## Description

We are seeking a Publications Technical Senior Editor to support the Honda Power Sports & Products Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, consistency, and usability of complex technical content.

The Senior Technical Editor will partner closely with technical writers, engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to review, edit, and approve technical documentation in accordance with established style guides, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Producing technical service documentation

- Editing and reviewing complex technical documentation for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and consistency

- Ensuring all content adheres to approved style guides, formatting standards, and documentation guidelines

- Verifying technical accuracy by coordinating with engineers, SMEs, and reviewers

- Enforcing document control, versioning, and approval processes throughout the publication lifecycle

- Managing campaign launch materials, outside vendors, and publication revisions

- Supporting unit lead with supervision of cost center activities and projects to stay within established budget

- Developing associates through performance planning processes

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field

- 5 years of experience editing technical documentation in an engineering, manufacturing, software, or regulated environment

- 3 years of experience in the Powersport, Power Equipment, or Marine industry

- Strong ability to interpret technical concepts and communicate them clearly to varied audiences

- Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker and other Adobe Creative Cloud software

- Strong working knowledge of gasoline/diesel engines, electric motors/circuits/batteries, power equipment/motorcycles/ATV/marine outboard engines
