## Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our Decision Advantage Business Area within the Defense sector in Alexandria, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires a TS/SCI clearance.

As a Technical Writer, you will support a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force, working closely with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Planning, coordinating, revising, and editing written material, including technical and non-technical documents

- Working with the engineering team to ensure that CDRLs/deliverables meet SOW and Government requirements

To qualify, you must have:

- 12+ years of experience as a technical writer (additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

- An active and current TS/SCI clearance

- Fluency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

- Attention to detail and strong writing skills

- Experience conducting research to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation

- Knowledge of developing DoD CDRLs following Government DIDs

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to attain SAP clearance

Preferred qualifications include:

- Experience with Jira and Confluence

- Experience with Adobe products

- Ability to adapt to different writing styles and formats

- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

- Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter

- SAP experience

The pay range for this position is $105,300.00 - $190,350.00.
