## Description

The Undergraduate Sales Intern will work in the Safety & Industrial Business Group (SIBG) at 3M, applying sales skills while engaging with customers and supporting commercial growth.

The role involves building business relationships, developing a foundational understanding of 3M SIBG product lines, recommending solutions to customers, and supporting sales growth through account planning and pipeline development.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building and strengthening business relationships to understand customer needs and identify growth opportunities

- Developing a foundational understanding of 3M SIBG product lines, customer segments, and sales policies

- Recommending 3M Safety and Industrial solutions that align with customer applications and business goals

- Supporting sales growth through account planning, pipeline development, and customer follow-up

- Collaborating with experienced sales professionals and cross-functional teams

Requirements include:

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution

- Current, valid Driver's License

Preferred qualifications include:

- Demonstrated interest in B2B sales, account management, or industrial/safety markets

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Analytical mindset with the ability to review sales data and market trends

- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong interest in learning how to support customer needs and contribute to sales growth

The internship is a full-time position, working a minimum of four days a week in the office at 3M Center in Maplewood, MN or Austin, TX.

3M provides eligible interns with a housing and transportation stipend in accordance with current policy.
