## Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Experimental Aerodynamicist to join Cadillac Formula 1® Team. Working within the Aerodynamics Department, this role will support the aerodynamic development of the race car through the preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting of wind tunnel testing activities.

The successful candidate will contribute to performance development by ensuring high-quality test preparation, accurate data collection, and robust analysis, helping to drive informed aerodynamic design decisions and maximise on-track performance.

Responsibilities:

- Support the preparation, execution and analysis of wind tunnel test programmes, ensuring testing is conducted efficiently and accurately.

- Analyze experimental data to assess aerodynamic performance, identify trends and support development decisions.

- Work closely with aerodynamicists, model technicians, model designers and test engineers to deliver on testing objectives.

- Assist in defining test requirements, configurations and measurement strategies to maximize the value of wind tunnel testing.

- Investigate data quality, repeatability and measurement uncertainties, helping to ensure reliable experimental results.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of wind tunnel testing methods, processes and tools.

- Prepare clear technical reports and communicate test findings to the wider aerodynamic development team.

- Support the investigation and resolution of technical issues encountered during testing.

- Develop an understanding of the relationship between wind tunnel results, CFD predictions and on-track aerodynamic performance.

- Maintain accurate test records and documentation, ensuring effective communication and traceability of development activities.

- Contribute ideas to improve testing efficiency, data quality and aerodynamic development processes.

- Travel to the wind tunnel in Cologne when required.

## Requirements

- Degree qualified in Aerodynamics, Aeronautics, or a related engineering discipline.

- Recent graduate, having completed your degree within the last 12 months.

- Knowledge of experimental wind tunnel testing techniques and aerodynamic data analysis.

- Familiarity with CFD methodologies and 3D CAD software, ideally 3DEXPERIENCE/CATIA.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work to deadlines.

- Effective team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.

- Clear and professional written and verbal communication, including email correspondence.
